Arboricultural Method Statement

Following submission of the initial reports and tree constraints plan, consultation with the client is often required to finalise the design plan in a way that minimises arboricultural issues. Any remaining issues can then be addressed within an arboricultural method statement.

The method statement details the required tree removal and tree protection measures for retained trees. This includes the installation of protective barriers around RPAs and any precautionary working methods to be adopted in close proximity to trees.

Protection measures are presented on a Tree Protection Plan. Such measures include trees for retention and removal, required tree work, location of mitigation planting, precise location of protective barriers, areas requiring precautionary working methods, location of site access, car parking and storage for example.
